Melbourne Property Valuation provides expert witness valuations for court and litgation proceedings.

This is an area that requires very experienced property valuers who are able to provide high quality valuations and advice that will be used in legal proceedings or court. We have the experience to provide you with the advice and reports you need.

Having conducted in excess of 10,000 valuations over more than 15 years across many property types all throughout Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula our principal valuer has the valuation experience to help with your requirements.

We have extensive experience in the preperation of valuation reports along with the provision of advice to clients as well as expert witness evidence in both the County and Supreme Courts.

It is imperative that detailed, high quality and of course accurate valuation reports are provided to clients, and we have to be able and willing to defend our opinions in court when required.

We also have extensive experience in reviewing and critiquing valuation reports provided by other firms, providing shadow expert witness valuation reports and advice, as well as conducting mediation sessions with valuers who may have provided another party with a valuation report that’s being contested.

It takes knowledge, skill and care to provide expert witness valuations, and if you require advice or are looking to engage a valuer in this area we are happy to provide you any information you require.

All valuers undertaking work in this area have a minimum of 15 years full time valuation experience and actual experience in court giving expert witness evidence.

We understand the legal process as it applies to valuations, and our valuation reports are designed to be used in mediation or provided as evidence in court action. We sign affidavits in relation to our valuations on a regular basis and understand what lawyers require from a valuation report.

Due to the nature of the reports we provide, turn around times are usually longer than for standard valuations. We can provide you valuation reports as instructed by a single party, or as part of joint instructions from solicitors as ordered by a court.

If you have any questions in regards to this sometimes complex area of valuation practice, feel free to contact us for further information.
